“Troublemaker is a wink and a nod to the early days, when a young Austin Hope was sent to the vineyards for breaking the rules and making mischief. Still stirring things up, Troublemaker is all about breaking the rules.”
For a brand that is every bit as rebellious as this rock n roll styled marketing campaign. Troublemaker Wine’s 2017 marketing campaign is themed “Troublemaker On Tour,” and the vision conveyed to us was a “Mötley Crüe or Alice Cooper Concert Poster Meets Valentine’s Day” feel. Needless to say, we were stoked about it.
The vision for the campaign revolves around the renegade personality of Troublemaker as a touring rockstar, and sought branding that reflected their edgy, boundary-pushing spirit. We drew inspiration from lush textures, moody hues and a dark palette with raw, hand painted elements and a wash of ombré watercolor. This project included a concert styled poster, hand painted brand elements, in-store displays, backdrops and point of sale marketing collateral.
